Augsburg features some interesting spots. The Hochablass is one of them, a landmarked weir that spans the Lech river. It’s a nice place to hang out and fly on warm summer days.

Eisenberg Castle is a medieval hilltop castle ruin, found only fifteen minutes by car from the world-famous Neuschwanstein Castle. This remote, peaceful place is a huge contrast to Neuschwanstein and the crowded city of Hohenschwangau.

Flying over the Weitmannsee at Kissing, Bavaria. This quarry pond is quite shallow, compared to others, which results in intense emerald colors when seen from above. There are many small island, some of them just big enough to carry a single tree.

This historical, but decayed mill can be found at the bottom of Neuschwanstein Castle, Bavaria. The water driven mill was used to produce gesso, which was then filled into bags and shipped down the Pollat river.
