(German) Ein schöner Sommertag. Fast schon zu heiß, um sich zu Fuß durch die Landschaft zu quälen. Also flugs das E-Board geladen, den Drohnenrucksack umgeschnallt und ab geht’s auf die Piste.

On hot summer days it’s a pleasure to hike through the cool and shady forest – and to use the camera drone there to capture atmospheric, almost mystical pictures and videos.

Some rent a pedal boat, others prefer to sail. But as a copter pilot you definitely have the best view over Lake Ammersee, Bavaria – especially while enjoying a cafe latte in front of the lake restaurant. Here’s the video.

There may still be people who consider the Spark a “selfie drone”. These videos prove the opposite – and show that the little one really is a great travel and sightseeing companion.

Neuschwanstein castle and the Tegelberg mountain are not the only sights worth seeing in Schwangau, Bavaria. This time we grabbed our drones and visited the near Forggensee lake, as well as the gorgeous and calm Buchenberg Alm.

Gorgeous views and a truly epic panorama: on one of the last warm, sunny autumn days we’ve been heading to the Tegelberg mountain near the famous Neuschwanstein castle in Schwangau, Bavaria, to shoot some awesome drone footage.

Floating with the DJI Phantom drone over the impressive Rotwand mountain and the Spitzingsee Lake in the Bavarian alps which offers an epic scenic panorama.

The Bavarian Alps are awesome. This time we’re heading to Oberammergau and Garmisch-Partenkirchen, two scenic hotspots that do not only provide beautyful trekking paths, but also nice places to lift off and take a round-trip in the sky.

Famous Neuschwanstein Castle from a spectacular bird’s-eye view. It took many tries and several months to take the shots -but it was really worth the effort.

A mysterious crop circle in Bavaria has attracted thousands of visitors since it was spotted in a wheat field in June ’14. It’s just a 40 min. trip from my home, so I grabbed my Phantom and went there.

The DJI Phantom almost got buried at sea while chasing a paddlesteamer on the lake. It was too far away to hear the lipo warner but luckily I managed to bring him down seconds before a crash.

Flying over Mary’s church with the DJI Phantom. Mary’s church is a hidden treasure in the small town of Diessen, right next to the beautiful Ammersee lake, Bavaria. I did not notice this gem while I lived nearby a couple of years ago.
